CII Woman Exemplar Award -2007

Confederation of Indian Industry and Bharti Foundation have awarded Lalithabai the CII Woman Exemplar Award-2007 in Micro-Finance and Enterprise in recognition of her spirit of overcoming all personal and social barriers to move from labour to stove building and thus finding her mission.

She has setup an enterprise for construction of household stoves and has built over a 1000 stoves in 3 years at an affordable price.

Finalists - India Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2006

The Khemka Foundation and Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship has instituted the India Social Entrepreneur of Year Award to recognise Social Entrepreneurs with a focus on transformational social change.

TIDE were one of the four finalists for the Award at the World Economic Forum India Summit.
