OUR PROJECTS
Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission TIDE is one of the organizations which has been selected to prepare groundwater prospect maps for some of the problematic villages in Karnataka State under the purview of this Mission funded by The Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Government of India. The objective of the project is to prepare groundwater prospects maps for the problematic villages.
Groundwater Utilisation Survey of Bangalore City and Its Neighborhood This project undertaken for Bangalore Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Master Plan (BWSESMP), Government of Karnataka to aid in the decision making processes for planning and management of water resources in Bangalore City and its neighbourhood area. TIDE prepared the urban landuse maps and other database containing attribute information like ward no, ward name, type of well, quantity of water usage, type of pump used etc.
Processing of Remote Sensing data for BMRDA Area This project undertaken for Bangalore Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Master Plan (BWSESMP), Government of Karnataka to aid in the decision making processes for planning and management of water resources for BMRDA region. The database is on 1:50,000 scale and contain attribute information on landuse type, groundwater prospects, slope class, villagewise census information etc. for the above region.
Papagni Watershed The Papagni Watershed project was carried out for the National Tree Grower's Co-operative Federation, Anand, which is a division of National Dairy Development Board, Anand, Gujarat to understand the natural resource information in the watershed. We prepared the various thematic maps and villagewise census information for the entire watershed.
Geographic Information System for Dharwad TIDE has prepared a village level GIS Database for the two taluks of district of Dharwad, Karnataka. The database contains various thematic maps with attribute information like type of landuse, groundwater prospects maps, villagewise census information etc.
GIS Database For Tati village The aim of the project was to create a cadastral level GIS for Tati Village falling under Angadha Thana of Ranchi District of Bihar.
Geographic Information System For Sathyanagar Layout GIS for Sathyanagar layout contains parcel level data and socio-economic mapping for details like Population, Occupation, Income, Use Of Space etc. This project included the preparation of a base-map at 1:1500 containing parcel level data.
Development of GIS Applications for the Department of Health Services and the Department of Sericulture in Kolar District This project, supported by Department of Science and Technology (DST), aims at developing GIS based support systems and, recommendation on fertilizer usage in the parcels of selected farmers.
User need assessment-systems study of Information flow in Kolar District This project is aimed at developing Information Systems and decision support systems which would aid the Departments of Sericulture and health for better decision making.
Integrated Urban Environment Improvement project for Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) This project aims at environmental improvement of the four layouts developed by Bangalore Development Authority.
Geographic Information System for BMRDA TIDE has set up a GIS center at Bangalore Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (BMRDA) to enable it to plan more effectively the growth of Bangalore.
Bidar Health Information System TIDE has prepared a GIS on infrastructural facilities for health centers in Bidar district situated in the Northern region of Karnataka.
